A little fun never hurts. Iranians have long been known for their love of social gatherings, humour and celebration - something deeply rooted in the culture and reflected in everything from poetry and music to everyday life. Even the ancient Greek historian Herodotus remarked on the Persian fondness for feasting, wine and lively company. Yet this lighter, more playful side is often overlooked, overshadowed by headlines and politics.
